FBNInsurance introduces multiple payment channels to deepen ease of doing business
FBNInsurance Limited has introduced multiple payment channels to allow customers continue doing business with the insurer despite the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
The move, according to the company, was to adapt to the new normal by seeking alternative ways of reaching customers. In line with this, the company has upgraded its digital capabilities and platforms to adequately serve its customers, especially its payment channels, the fast growing insurance company said.
Reacting to this development, Managing Director/CEO, Mr Val Ojumah, outlined some of the payment channels available to customers to include: FBNInsurance Customer and Financial Advisor (FA) Apps, E-Insurance online, POS at its Aba, Onitsha, Warri and Ikeja retail offices. Other alternative payment channels, he listed, include: USSD, ATMs, Web payments, money agents, bank payment/online transfer, direct debit/standing instructions, FirstBank first BAP platforms, amongst others.
“Through our online platforms, we can show customers that we will fulfil our promises to them by insuring their most valued assets and safeguarding their future. The introduction of various payment channels to our customers is one of the few innovations being pioneered by the insurance company,” he pointed out.
He urged customers to use these alternative payment channels to generate e-receipt for every payment made for ease of payment reconciliation.
As the company upgrades its digital capabilities, it continues to break new grounds in the insurance sector by continually leveraging its digital innovations to deepen accessibility to its insurance solutions to its customers.
