Reflecting her unwavering commitment to pushing creative boundaries, Esosa Osagiede has been appointed as the Creative Director at Insight Publicis.

In her new role, Esosa will lead a diverse portfolio of global and local accounts, including Nigerian Breweries brands, SBC and HBC brands, ARM, Keystone Bank, and Complan.

This appointment comes as the latest chapter in her illustrious career, marked by a penchant for unconventional creative journeys and a trail of accolades.

Esosa’s trajectory commenced nearly two decades ago when she made the audacious decision to become a copywriter in Nigeria. From her first foray at Centerspread FCB, she demonstrated not only a capacity to navigate briefs but a unique ability to own them.

Her audacious spirit also led her to choose 141Worldwide (a member of the WPP group) over a pool of agency suitors, showcasing early on her fearless and distinctive approach.

After eight years of stellar contributions, she bid farewell to the WPP family, entering the vibrant realm of Leo Burnett Lagos in 2016. Swiftly rising from Group Head to Creative Lead, Osagiede also secured global accounts such as Burger King and ALX Africa, cementing her reputation as a creative force to be reckoned with.

Also worthy of note is her storytelling prowess which has been recognized with awards, including the “Outstanding Creative Director 2023” at the Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards. Notably, she received the Creative Game Changer award at the “SHE WINS” conference organized by The Industry. Her portfolio features renowned brands like Mondalez, YouTube, Chivita, British American Tobacco, Nestle, First Bank, World Bank, Nigerian Breweries, and the groundbreaking TGI “Unwrap Joy, Unleash Taste” campaign, earning Leo Burnett its first GRAND PRIX at the 2023 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF).

Unafraid to stand out, Osagiede participated in the Cannes Lions See It Be It program, emerging as the sole representative from West Africa among the top 16 selected globally from over 800 applications.

A copywriter by craft and a human behavior analyst by training, Osagiede places people at the heart of her creative solutions. As a juror on esteemed global and local creative awards platforms such as CLIO, D&AD, The One Show, and LAIF, she contributes her expertise to the industry’s evolution.

Beyond her creative pursuits, Osagiede’s commitment extends to nurturing emerging talents in advertising schools in Nigeria and advocating for creative women in the industry.
