Dentsu Aegis team arrives Nigeria

Feelers emanating from the Nigerian advertising landscape have authoritatively confirmed that top executives of Dentsu Aegis Network have arrived Nigeria.

The team’s arrival, impeccable source revealed is not unconnected with the formal and final signing of MOU with its newly engaged affiliate partner, Noah’s Ark, a top of the market creative shop that has radically redefined creative advertising business in Nigeria within its short lifespan.

It was gathered that the team will formally address a media parley over the global network’s new win in the Nigerian market following its most successful breakthrough with the partnership earlier sealed with Media Fuse.

There have been talks about the proposed affiliation in the last one year but the two business partners i.e. Aegis Dentsu Network and Noah’s Ark finally agreed on the relationship mid this year. Although details of the deal are still shrouded in secrecy, but the MD/CEO of Noah’s Ark, Mr. Lanre Adisa, a creative wizard of no mean protégé had hinted recently that the deal may not involve any equity investment yet but cannot rule out what the future portends.

Noah’s Ark was established in the last quarter of 2007. The Ship of the agency was commissioned in February 2008. Later that year, it took over Alicia Virgins (An AAAN agency established in 1996) and also became a full-fledged member of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN).

Today, the agency is arguably the fastest growing creative shop in Nigeria and warehouses a number of top Nigerian and multinational brands including Nigerite, AIICO Insurance, Airtel Nigeria etc. Noah’s Ark occupies the 38th position on Lurzer’s Archive Global Ad-Agency Ranking.

These are aside the laurels the agency has won at the annual Lagos Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF). In 2015, Noah’s cemented its reputation as a creative giant in Nigeria by winning the only Grand Prix at LAIF.
