Conoil Celebrates Nigerians @ 55

Conoil, one of the most formidable names in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum industry has expressed optimism that the nation’s future is bright in spite of its current challenges as the country celebrates its 55th independence anniversary.

In a goodwill message to Nigerians to mark the country’s independence anniversary, the company noted that the country had made giant strides since it attained independence and shown resilience in the face of obstacles on its path to greatness. This determination, it said, must be celebrated.

“We celebrate every Nigerian that has gone the extra mile to make our nation great. Despite all the odds, we have grown stronger as a people and as a country. And today, we dare to celebrate that true winning spirit,” the statement said.

The major marketer urged citizens to strive for peace and harmony at all times, and rededicate themselves towards achieving a more unified country in tandem with the vision of the founding fathers.

The statement also implored Nigerians to take a moment to reflect on what constitutes impediments to the continuous growth of the nation and seek solutions to the problems. It enjoined Nigerians to see themselves as one, irrespective of religious, political or tribal belief.

According to the statement, “We see a brighter future for Nigeria. We beseech Nigerians to look inwards and work towards individual transformation and re-orientation, which will, in turn, lead to the transformation of the country”.
