BHM wins PR agency of the year at LaPRIGA Awards
Leading Public Relations agency, Black House Media (BHM) has emerged as the Public Relations agency of the year at the Lagos PR Industry Gala & Awards (LaPRIGA), held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The LaPRIGA Awards with the theme: ”Celebration of Success” was an avenue to appreciate PR agencies, brand owners as well as brand journalists covering the Integrated Marketing Communications industry for their sterling work by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter.
The PR agency of the year award was presented to the Chief Operating Officer, Black House Media (BHM), Mr. Femi Falodun.
One of the major reasons that enable BHM to clinch the award was its ability to bridge the gap in providing the needed data which is galvanizing the growth of PR in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that BHM launched its maiden edition of ‘The Nigeria PR Report 2015’ in 2016 and subsequently released the 2017 edition which has continued to serve as a guide and which provide insights into Public Relations for practititioners in the country due to its robust data and findings.
Expressing his gratitude to the organizers of the award, Falodun said that the award was a testimony to the agency’s hard work in delivering value to its numerous clients.
He, however, promised that the agency would continue to strive harder in providing adequate data that would enable practitioners to take informed decisions about the industry with the aid of The Nigeria PR Report.
“We are very grateful to God and to the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter. We will continue to do the good work for which we have been recognized”, Falodun said.
Meanwhile, Red Media emerged as Best PR agency using new media; while TPT International, Red Media and BHM clinched the award as Best PR agencies for PR practitioners to work in.
Other award categories include All time PR achievement award which was won by The Quadrant Company; while Best PR training consultancy was won by Business Education Examination Council (BEEC), and so on.
