BEEC Hosts Digital PR Communications Congress, Exhibition
BUSINESS Education Examinations Council (BEEC), a globally recognized leader in human resource development and learning is set to host a three-day Digital Public Relations Communications Congress and Exhibition for practitioners in the communications space.
The event themed: “Maximizing the Power of Digital Communication and On-Line Public Relations in a Changing World” holds in Lagos from 5th-8th June, 2017 at the Gallery Hall, University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Speaking about the event, President of the Council, Mr. Mike Okereke, said that the congress will give participants the relevant knowledge and update them on current trend in on-line communication in a changing world.
Okereke said that the occasion will also inundate practitioners and participants with public relations strategy; review viral marketing communication strategy; review types of on-line advertising; understanding digital metrics; review regulations and code of practice in digital communication and public relations and marketing functions.
He said: “Digital communication occupies the centre stage in the effective running of the public and private sector. Hence, the need to update skills in digital communication and on-line public relations strategy”
On the exhibition, Okereke said: “It is designed to showcase the advances that have been made in the telecoms industry and ICT in enhancing digital communication. It will promote the products and services offered by the telecoms and ICT companies”
Executive Chairman, Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Danbatta, will be the Special Guest of Honour and as well will open the congress and exhibition.
The congress and exhibition is supported by DigitalPR-Wire, the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and the African Public Relations Association (APRA).
