Kantar Nigeria unveils ‘The Hub’
Kantar Nigeria has launched The Hub, an ultra-modern office complex of the foremost marketing research and consultancy in the country.
The 5-storey facility was opened by the doyen of marketing research in Nigeria, Kareem Tejumola, recently. The office complex houses the Public, World panel and Insight Divisions which consist of Brands, Creative, Customer Experience, Innovation & Product Development, Media, Retail/Shopper and Qualitative domains. Also resident in the complex are the support functions (i.e. Business Development & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Technology and Operations).
According to Fikayo Aremu, chair of the relocation committee, the building is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to drive collaborations across its divisions, domains and functions for excellent client delivery.
The Hub has 10 meetings rooms, sound-proof phone booths, focus group discussion rooms, a server room, play areas and a well-equipped cafeteria for the use of staff members.
The Hub’s play areas would make Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z feel at home while provision is made for quiet time and study in the Mandela library on the penthouse. The village square with its African communication theme provides a nice place for big or small staff meetings
Kareem Tejumola chairman Kantar Nigeria commended the management team for providing this conducive atmosphere for work which would enable the company’s specialists in their different domains to work under one roof and deliver world class service for the benefit of clients and other stakeholders.
When asked for the motivation for The Hub, Blessing Onyebuchi a member of the relocation committee said the building was put in place to ensure work life balance and make work at Kantar Nigeria a delight.
Meanwhile, Eric Salama, the CEO of Kantar at the global level is to step down as chief executive of company, the market data business leader, in an unexpected “personal decision”
Speaking to the Financial Times in London, Salama said he chose to quit the top job at a company he “adores” after a tough year where he also completed the $4bn sale of a majority stake in Kantar to the private equity group Bain Capital.
