Notably, when excellence speaks through consistent work, its influence rarely remains confined to one room. Moreover, it travels through businesses, institutions, classrooms and professional communities, becoming a culture that others can see and embrace.
Consequently, that combination of excellence, resilience and a continuous quest to do better has earned Uchenna Innocent, Managing Partner and CEO of Radoss Agency, the Outstanding Digital Transformation Personality of the Year award at the just concluded 2026 MARKETING EDGE EDGE Awards.
Meanwhile, held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Ten Degrees Event Hall, Billingsway, Oregun, Lagos, the 14th edition of the EDGE Awards brought together brands, agencies, organisations and professionals under the theme, “Celebrating Excellence Beyond Borders.”
Beyond that, Innocent’s recognition represents more than a career milestone. Rather, it reflects the journey of a practitioner who has consistently connected technology with business growth, digital systems with human behaviour and professional knowledge with practical execution.

In his welcome address, meanwhile, Managing Director and Editor in Chief of MARKETING EDGE, Amos Oladele, noted that excellence deserves recognition wherever it is found, regardless of sector, geography, background or circumstance.
Furthermore, he explained that the EDGE Awards celebrates those who refuse to settle for the ordinary, challenge convention, raise standards and demonstrate through achievement that excellence is a choice, a discipline and ultimately, a culture.
Indeed, Innocent’s career provides a strong illustration of that philosophy. As Managing Partner and CEO of Radoss Agency, a business, marketing and transformation partner for African organisations, he operates at the intersection of marketing, entrepreneurship and technology.

More importantly, his approach to digital transformation goes beyond adopting new tools. Instead, he connects people, processes, data, platforms and customer journeys to measurable commercial outcomes.
Over time, that orientation has shaped more than a decade of experience across advertising, media, technology, fintech, hospitality and education. Professionally, Innocent built his professional foundation across Ogilvy Nigeria, Publicis/Insight Publicis, Ringier AG, Travelstart, Yellow Card, Transfast and HippoAd.
Subsequently, each experience strengthened his understanding of customer acquisition, media management, performance marketing, data and digital growth.
At Ogilvy and Publicis/Insight Publicis, he developed experience in integrated marketing and digital strategy, while Ringier AG broadened his exposure to digital content, audience monetisation and platform economics.
Thereafter, Travelstart sharpened his performance marketing capabilities, while Yellow Card and Transfast deepened his exposure to fintech and emerging technology.

Later, his experience at HippoAd subsequently placed him within the digital advertising ecosystem, where he became increasingly concerned with the quality, integrity and effectiveness of digital media investment.
Notably, his portfolio has included media management involving more than $10 million monthly, alongside campaigns and marketing assignments involving brands such as British American Tobacco, Pepsi, Nigerian Breweries, Mondelez and Philips.
From this experience, consequently, emerged a defining conviction:, wchi is, strategy divorced from human behaviour ultimately loses its commercial relevance.
Accordingly, he placed responsibility across the digital advertising chain. Brands must demand value for their investments, agencies must monitor the media buying they execute, while platforms must protect traffic quality.

Additionally, he also pointed to third-party monitoring solutions and measures adopted by major platforms to identify invalid traffic.
For Innocent, therefore, the issue extends beyond technology. Instead, it is about accountability, consumer trust and protecting marketing investment.
At Radoss Agency, subsequently, he has translated this experience into a business focused on marketing, technology and transformation for organisations across Africa.
Fundamentally, his philosophy is that businesses do not transform simply by acquiring new software or digital platforms. Rather, sustainable transformation requires alignment between people, processes, data and customer experience.
That thinking, consequently, produced his proprietary M.C.I.A. Playbook: Map the Market, Connect with the Consumer, Implement with Impact, Analyse and Adapt.

Through this framework, the framework takes organisations from understanding their market and consumers to disciplined implementation and continuous measurement.
Also, Innocent has deployed it in engagements involving the Nigerian Insurers Association, Covenant University through CIM UK, Rome Business School Nigeria and workshops for MSMEs, corporate teams and marketing professionals.
Beyond consulting, furthermore, he has also demonstrated his entrepreneurial side. He is co founder and CEO of Eatalia, a quick service restaurant in Lagos, while his entrepreneurial interests have also extended into digital solutions and marketing through idopub Media.
Perhaps, one of the strongest dimensions of Innocent’s professional contribution is knowledge transfer.
Of particular note, he teaches Digital Marketing and Business Transformation at Rome Business School Nigeria and serves as Programme Director and Faculty at Docenti Global Business School, focusing on Digital Transformation and Strategic Innovation.

In December 2025, furthermore, O2 Academy further recognised his contribution with a Selfless Contribution Award.
Consequently, his professional role has consequently grown beyond that of a practitioner. He has become a bridge between industry experience and the next generation of professionals.

Beyond this, that commitment to knowledge sharing also extends to professional communities.Innocent co founded DigiClan Africa, a digital marketing community focused on mentorship, knowledge sharing and professional development, and co founded ZuriLabs.co, a community centred on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Additionally, he also serves as Chapter Lead for Travel Massive Lagos and holds an International Partner designation with the World Business Angels Investment Forum.
Alongside this, his academic and professional credentials complement this practical experience. He is a Chartered Marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and holds the CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing with a digital focus.
Furthermore, he also holds an Executive Master’s in Digital Marketing and Business Transformation, jointly certified by Rome Business School in Italy and Valencia International University in Spain, as well as the Advanced Brand Management Professional designation from BLIM and BMA Nigeria.
Professionally, his professional interests span performance marketing, SEO and SEM, paid media, analytics, CRM, automation, MarTech, artificial intelligence, e commerce and customer experience.
Against this background, MARKETING EDGE’s decision to honour Innocent as Outstanding Digital Transformation Personality of the Year represents more than a moment on an awards stage.
Instead, it recognises a practitioner who has connected digital capability with business performance, professional development and ecosystem building.
At the same time, it also captures the wider philosophy of the EDGE Awards. As Oladele noted, excellence is not restricted to a particular sector or circumstance. Rather, it becomes worthy of celebration when individuals choose to raise the standard through what they do.
For Innocent, accordingly, that standard has been built gradually through agency experience, multinational brand assignments, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, teaching and knowledge sharing.
Daily, he works from the belief that excellence is not a single spectacular achievement but the gradual result of repeatedly choosing to improve.

That belief, moreover, is reflected in his philosophy, which says, “Technology changes systems, empathy changes people and transformation endures when both stay in conversation.”
Together, it brings together the different chapters of his career. The strategist understands systems. The marketer understands markets. The entrepreneur understands execution.
Interestingly, the educator understands knowledge transfer. The ecosystem builder understands that individual success becomes more valuable when it creates room for others to advance.
When excellence becomes a habit, consequently, it can become contagious. When professional knowledge becomes contribution, it can outlive the individual assignment. When experience becomes mentorship, it can multiply across generations.
Uchenna Innocent’s Outstanding Digital Transformation Personality of the Year award, therefore marks the public recognition of a career that has progressively connected technology, marketing, business transformation, education and human understanding.
In essence, that is the space Innocent has chosen to occupy and MARKETING EDGE recognised that journey and celebrated the excellence that has emerged from it.
