
Akinpelu joins Future Creative Leaders Academy as Dean

Sheriff Lanre Akinpelu, a distinguished global strategy leader, has joined the Future Creative Leaders Academy (FCLA) 2025 as the Dean.
Akinpelu made this disclosure recently on his LinkedIn page, noting that the role will enable him to guide and mentor young creative minds, connect with them on a personal level and light up their paths to progress by welcoming them to the world of marketing communications.
The Future Creative Leaders Academy is a youth programme of Pitchers Festival of Creativity, designed for students in the University and other tertiary institution.
It provides a platform for intensive learning, discovering talents as well as inspiring and immersing hopeful professionals into the world of advertising and marketing communications.
A key highlight of the academy is its competitions, which recognize the three top-performing students with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
The winners will also earn an exclusive opportunity to participate in the Roger Hatchuel Students Academy of the Cannes Lions Festival.
Also, the Best Lecturer of the Year Award will be presented to the supervisor of the top-performing students, while the institution or department with the highest cumulative score will receive the coveted School of the Year Award.
Expressing his excitement on his appointment, Akinpelu stated that being the Dean of the academy will enable him contribute to the growth and success of the aspiring creative professionals.
