He shared: “While digital marketing has become increasingly important in recent years, radio advertising remains an effective way to reach a large audience and create an emotional connection with potential customers. One of the key advantages of radio advertising is the ability to reach a wide audience. Radio reaches more than 90% of the population, making it an effective way to communicate with a large number of people. Additionally, radio advertising can be targeted to specific demographics such as age, gender, and demographic location, which can help you reach people who are most likely to be interested in your product or service.”

“In addition, radio advertising is inexpensive compared to other forms of advertising. This makes it a great option for businesses with limited marketing budgets. As we are all aware, technology is not the future, technology is today. And it is important that a cutting edge digital platform that takes the media industry from traditional, rigid, and rigorous processes till full automation is activated.”

Chief Executive Officer, Space Universe, Olaniyi Idowu who introduced RadioAdspread into the market as an indigenous innovative technology platform for radio advertising booking, explained that the platform was born to digitise the radio advertisement process.

Noting that dealing with multiple radio stations in Africa can be time consuming and cumbersome, and how performance tracking can be impossible in some cases, Idowu shared that by offering usability, flexibility, cost effectiveness, and ease of use, RadioAdspread is set to bridge the gap between advertisers and radio stations.

He said: “As many of you know, the world of advertising is undergoing a significant shift, as more and more advertisers are moving away, from the traditional radio advertising towards digital platforms, the launch of RadioAdspread represents our commitment to stay at the forefront of this shift by providing advertisers with a user friendly and efficient way to book radio ads.”
