Nexus opens brand new showroom in Lagos
Nexus, a manufacturer of distinct home appliances recently opened its first branded showroom in Lagos as part of its efforts to expand its customer access points across Nigeria.
The company hopes that with the launch of its showroom strategically situated at Allen Avenue, in the Ikeja axis of Lagos, it will be able to capitalise on the gains of the business venture and subsequently diversify its operation across Nigeria to provide qualitative customer service to her numerous customers.
The new brand shop is expected to provide consumers with an exciting experience as they interact with Nexus line-up of products.
The launch which held amidst pomp and pageantry saw a host of activities including a facility tour of the store and product trials occurring, showcasing the unique identity of the brand.
The event also witnessed the presence of prominent personalities from the entertainment industry such as Skales, Uti Nwachukwu, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Yaw, Emeka Smith amongst others.
Speaking at the event, Head of Brands and Corporate Communications of the Deekay Group, owners of Nexus, Mr Damilola Owolabi, disclosed that the company is excited by taking up the venture and has made plans to establish more showrooms in the shortest possible time.
His words, “We are thrilled to unveil our first Nexus brand shop in Nigeria. Nexus is a dynamic brand that has over the years enjoyed a vibrant relationship with its customers and will not stop at opening of brand shops to engage, but will initiate several consumer-friendly activities and communications going forward to constantly thrill and delight our customers.
“One of such initiative is the ‘Life has just begun’ campaign with the sole objective of making home appliances a necessity for all. So, we are asking customers to get ready for a journey with Nexus which will bring comfort, style, and pleasure to different homes across Nigeria.”
Owolabi, recently appointed as the company’s Head, Brands and Corporate Communications, is a marketing communications practitioner who is well vast in the brands and marketing segment of the Nigerian business environment. Mr. Owolabi who has worked for top companies, clients and agency side of brand marketing including SO&U Saatchi and Saatchi, and KFC Nigeria in several capacities is expected to bring his immense experience to bear in his new role.
He is expected in his new role to pilot the brand and marketing strategy of Deekay Group, deliver premium performance results as expected from his employers and develop an overall brand equity and business guide for the Deekay Group.
