Aforevo, Starsat form biggest media synergy in Africa
Aforevo a frontline YouTube partner for African content and leading PayTV operator in Africa, StarSat, have formed an unprecedented synergy following the launch of Aforevo TV and Aforevo Music TV on the StarSat platform. This was announced at the just concluded 2016 Discop Africa, held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa between November 2nd and 4th.
Aforevo TV is a full thematic French dubbed Nollywood channel broadcasting premium family-friendly African movies of all genres and Aforevo Music TV celebrates African Music and stakeholders in the industry. All contents of both channels are 100 percent local contents.
Speaking during the launch, founder of Aforevo, Murphy Anawana, stated that the company’s goal is to extend its tentacles across the African continent through the creation and distribution of high quality and entertaining African contents, ranging from movies, music, tutorials to every other content in-between. He further stated that the unique partnership with StarSat provided African viewers better options to consume Aforevo contents.
He however, noted that connectivity which was a bane in digital TV in Africa, is now a thing of the past since the emergence StarSat as a major player in digital broadcasting in the continent”.

With StarSat and Aforevo having discovered the potential of this niche that Aforevo TV occupies, and StarTimes having wholeheartedly opted to carry Aforevo TV, exciting times await the target audience of French-speaking Africans.
Aforevo channel is on StarSat channel 606. Viewers in Africa can enjoy entertainment video content such as movies, comedy shows, gospel music, high-life music, talk-shows all at the touch of a button.
