UAC Foods Limited has announced the appointment of Temitope Omodele, as its managing director/chief executive officer.

The company said her appointment marks a new phase as it continues to pursue operational excellence, innovation, sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Omodele’s elevation follows her service as chief financial officer at UAC Foods, where she was responsible for finance leadership within the business. Before joining UAC in September 2020, she began her career at KPMG and later served as technical accountant and reporting lead after joining UAC, before rising to senior vice president, finance, overseeing finance operations at the Holdco and group reporting.

Omodele has more than 16 years of experience in audit and assurance, technical accounting, group reporting, budgeting, business planning, corporate finance and finance operations. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Lagos Business School.

Her technical skills span external audits, IFRS conversion projects, due diligence and agreed-upon procedures, reflecting a background that combines financial control with strategic reporting and compliance.

She also brings experience in budgeting, finance operations and corporate finance, skills that align closely with the demands of a leadership role in a consumer goods company.

Beyond her executive role, Omodele serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Livestock Feeds Plc. UAC Foods said her appointment is expected to support the company’s next phase of growth as it works to deepen performance and create long-term value.
