Stagwell has expanded its global media offering with the launch of Stagwell Media.
Remarkably, this is a new international agency designed to give brands faster, more integrated and performance focused media solutions in an increasingly complex marketplace.
However, the new agency builds on the capabilities and performance heritage of Assembly.
On the other hand, this is while introducing a broader operating model that combines media expertise, multidisciplinary talent, advanced technology and greater operational flexibility.
According to Stagwell, the new proposition responds to a growing need among brand.
Obviously, it is for media partners that can adapt rapidly, connect multiple touchpoints and deliver measurable business growth.
Meanwhile, at the centre of the model is Stagwell’s Machine OS, an agentic technology platform.
Originally, it was developed to help media specialists manage the increasing complexity of modern audience engagement, discovery, recommendation and activation.
Consequently, Stagwell Media aims to turn media into a more connected and responsive growth engine.
Moreover, it is aimed at enabling brands to reach priority audiences more effectively while responding faster to changes across the media ecosystem.
Mark Penn, chairman and CEO of Stagwell, said the company recognised that conventional media agency structures were no longer sufficiently equipped for the future.
“The traditional media agency model wasn’t built for the future of media. Stagwell Media is,” Penn said.
He explained that Stagwell identified an opportunity for a fundamentally different approach.
In other words, it is by combining advanced technology, extensive media knowledge and operational agility to help brands respond faster, connect with audiences more efficiently and generate stronger growth.
Meanwhile, Slavi Samardzija, global chair of Media and Commerce at Stagwell, described the new agency as a response to a new phase of marketing.
Subsequently, in which brands must simultaneously move quickly, integrate their customer touchpoints and harness technology to manage growing complexity.
She said Stagwell Media would seek to challenge conventional approaches by bringing together specialist expertise, connected capabilities and technology created specifically for media professionals.
Liz Rutgersson, CEO of Stagwell Media, added that the agency was created around the ambitions of clients and would combine talent, integrated capabilities and a contemporary media structure to help brands navigate rapid market changes and convert emerging opportunities into improved performance.
Rutgersson will continue to lead Stagwell Media as its CEO, with responsibility spanning the United States and global operations.
She will work alongside a regional leadership team comprising Connie Chan, CEO, APAC; Bridget Hopkins, CEO, Europe; Alap Ghosh, CEO, India; Ravi Rao, CEO, MENA; and Kacper Klos, global CEO of Digital Commerce, Poland.
Furthermore, Stagwell Media now operates across more than 50 markets and serves major international brands including Lenovo, DP World, Mastercard and P&G.
The agency has outlined four core principles to guide its operations.
First, it will build teams around client ambition by adopting a simpler and more integrated structure while placing experienced senior leaders and multidisciplinary specialists closer to the work.
Second, it will deploy technology designed around media expertise, with Stagwell’s Machine OS positioned as a next generation agentic platform capable of helping teams compete across multiple digital and media environments.
Third, Stagwell Media will bring creativity and innovation closer to media through a combination of global capabilities and market specific expertise.
Finally, the agency will introduce commercial structures designed to align more closely with the direction and growth ambitions of individual businesses.
Beyond its core media capabilities, Stagwell Media will draw on solutions from The Marketing Cloud and the Stagwell Media Platform, including The Media Machine, Stagwell Search+ and Stagwell Curate.
It will also combine these platforms with advanced data capabilities, commerce expertise and specialist talent to create more connected media solutions for clients.
In addition, the agency will collaborate with sister companies across Stagwell’s Media and Commerce division, including Crispin, GALE, Goodstuff, Locaria and Stagwell Owned Media.
Through these partnerships, Stagwell Media intends to broaden its ability to deliver integrated solutions while helping brands respond to changing consumer behaviour, emerging technologies and an increasingly fragmented media environment.
Above all, the launch positions Stagwell Media as a new force within the global media agency landscape, with the company betting that greater agility, technological sophistication and closer integration can help brands translate media investment into stronger and more sustainable business performance.
