Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has been lauded by its counterpart in River State for its innovative and milestone achievements in the Out-of-Home advertising industry which has revolutionized the sector and set it on the path of growth.

Anthony Okeah, Acting Managing Director of Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA), who was present at the 2021 Out-of-Home Advertising Conference and Exhibition, applauded the LASAA under the leadership of Prince Adedamola Docemo, for the significant success recorded in the industry, noting that it is worthy of emulation.

In his words: “I have come here to collaborate with my counterpart, to support him as well as to borrow those cultures that will be relevant to what is obtainable in my state. To me, as one that represents the regulatory space in my own state, all that I have heard today, I will make it meaningful to me.”

Speaking further about how LASAA has pioneered technologically driven initiatives in the Out-of-home advertising industry, the RISAA boss described the Lagos State regulatory agency as a pacesetter for other regulatory agencies in the country.  He said: “They are like trailblazers. Virtually every agency in this country is copying what LASAA is doing and they are paying well. It is for me and my other counterparts to learn from.”

Mr. Anthony Okeah, while appreciating the LASSA helmsman for the opportunity to be part of the conference, called for improved synergy between both states, citing the already existing relationship between Governor Nyesom Wike and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on matters of national interest.
