OAAN set to hold EAGM

The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) has announced plan to hold its Extraordinary Annual General Meeting (EAGM), scheduled to take place at the Conference Hall of the association’s secretariat, popularly known as OAAN House, located at Kofo Kasumu Avenue, Lakeview, Phase1 Estate, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos. The EAGM is slated to hold on Thursday 23rd September, 2021, at 11.00 am.

This was disclosed on the OAAN’s social media platform. Giving more details on the meeting, Emmanuel Ajufo, President, OAAN, during a telephone interview with MARKETING EDGE, disclosed that the thrust of the EAGM is to review the association’s constitution and also assess the affairs and welfare of its members in Lagos State. According to the president, all members of the association are expected to be present at the EAGM.

His words: “We want to discuss our constitution and to review what is happening in Lagos State concerning our members. All members are expected to be there.”

OAAN was established to regulate and control the practice of outdoor advertising in conformity with statutory and industry guidelines and also to develop a vigilant, informed and active membership which is conscious of its rights, interests and obligations and alive to its professional responsibilities and to maintain an effective safeguard against abuse.
