News Central TV has appointed Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan as its Director of Commercial and Communications, recognising her exceptional contributions and expertise in business development, brand management, communications, and marketing. With a combined 20 years of experience across banking, oil & gas, and media, Rosemary brings a wealth of strategic insight to this role.

Since joining News Central in 2018 as Commercial Lead, she has been instrumental in securing high-value partnerships and significantly enhancing the network’s visibility through her expert market positioning and growth strategies. Her tenure has seen the successful onboarding of News Central onto major satellite platforms, expanding its reach across sub-Saharan Africa.

Rosemary’s leadership has played a key role in shaping the network’s commercial success, driving revenue optimisation, and developing strategic marketing frameworks that align with the evolving media landscape. Her ability to forge influential partnerships has strengthened News Central’s industry presence, reinforcing its status as a leading media powerhouse in Africa.

She holds an MSc in Media and Communications from Pan-Atlantic University, following a BSc in Marketing from Covenant University. A recognised industry expert, she is an Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) UK.
Further solidifying her leadership credentials, Rosemary has advanced strategy development certifications from Lagos Business School, positioning her as a trailblazer in business transformation, media innovation, and commercial excellence.
