Aderemi Apatira is a result driven strategist with experiences in media management, corporate and marketing communications (including crisis communication), stakeholders engagement and management, research, strategy and policy, advocacy, project management, brand management, corporate governance, human capital management, community & government relations, consumer and client relations and management, executive management, trade marketing, customer relations, reputation management and leadership especially with brands in oil and gas, energy, telecommunications, financial services, automobile and FMCGs, as well as government agencies.
In her over two decades of experience, she led several public engagement and strategic communications initiatives, communication strategy and execution for more than twelve years across sectors of the economy including heading a PR agency where she worked on accounts across industries including Telecommunications, Oil and gas, financial services etc as well as a number of United Nations Projects. She also researched and presented papers on strategic thinking, learning organisation, corporate social responsibility as a catalyst for development partnership and reputation building, and crisis communication among others. She has hands-on experience with using social media tools to advance publicity and advocacy campaign messages.
An ardent team player, Aderemi has experience leading multicultural, multinational teams physically and remotely; and has worked independently on a number of projects producing timely and high-quality results.
Aderemi holds a Master’s degree in business administration, specializing in strategic management & corporate governance, A postgraduate certificate in 360 degrees marketing, professional certifications in Public Relations, Advertising, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria, and Certified Institute of Development Studies.
An ideator/innovator, Aderemi leads PawaAce Energytech Limited owners of the PawaPlus App/software. She is also the founder and Lead Consultant of October20 Communications Limited.
