LASAA, top five digital billboard companies partner MARKETING EDGE Summit & Awards
The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) and top five leading digital Out-of-Home companies in Nigeria have indicated intention to partner with MARKETING EDGE Publications Ltd with a view to amplifying efforts aimed at boosting this year’s National Marketing Summit & Awards.
The top five leading digital OOH companies backing the summit and Awards initiatives are: New Crystal Communications, Elev8 Advertising Media, Plural Media, Invent Media and Four Pulley Nigeria Ltd.
A statement issued by the Publisher/Chief Executive Officer of MARKETING EDGE Publications Ltd, organisers of the event, Mr. John Ajayi, disclosed that the leading OOH companies are in support of the initiative.
According to the publisher, a frontline brands journalist, “the publication has concluded plans to hold the yearly two-in-one marketing and advertising functions tagged “National Marketing Stakeholders Summit & Brands & Advertising Awards of Excellence 2020 with a view to continuing to promote the brand idea while expanding the frontiers of marketing and advertising knowledge”.
He stated that the industry-wide accepted and highly rated event has been scheduled to hold 15th and 16th October 2020 as a virtual and live event. The publisher, who disclosed that the Summit would hold virtually on zoom and the award dinner at the popular D’Podium International Event Center, Ikeja, explained that events will draw participants from global and local players in the Integrated Marketing Communications sector.
Obviously excited at the level of successes and preparations for the events, Mr. Ajayi noted that the industry is already agog with excitement as feelers emanating from industry players have indicated that there is high expectations on behalf of the industry.

He further stated that the yearly 2-in-1 event, which is the seventh in the series in the seventeen years corporate history of the company, is designed to create an avenue for marketing professionals and all those involved in the business of brand management and the management of brand business to dissect the topic and provide valuable insights on the contemporary theme “Making Your Business Future Fit: The Post Digital Age Challenge”.
The Summit, comprehensively designed to ignite genuine conversation across the IMC sub-sectors, will be led by the Guest Speakers, Mr. Andisa Nstubane, Former Group Managing Director, Africa Microsoft and Head Marketing Planning & Africa Marketing Old Mutual Emerging markets. He will be joined by a Nigerian marketing professional in diaspora, Mr. Baba Awopetu, a leading Marketing Director and Director of Marketing Excellence in Stryker in Switzerland. Baba Awopetu, a Nigerian and popular speaker at conferences in Europe, America and Africa, is renowned for his outstanding marketing feats.

The award dinner will hold 16th 2020 in the evening at D’Podium International Events Center, Ikeja in full compliance with Covid-19 pandemic protocols.
