In a bid to promote safety awareness and a regulatory environment in the advertising industry, LASAA collaborated with the Lagos State Safety Commission to organize a safety workshop for industry practitioners.
The event, themed “Safety Sensitization Forum,” brought together outdoor advertising practitioners, LASAA officials, and safety commission representatives.
According to LASAA’s Mobile LinkedIn page, the event aimed to promote a safety culture and ensure signage and advertising structures comply with safety standards across Lagos State.
The event featured the launch of motorcycles donated to LASAA by advertising practitioners to enhance the agency’s operations in monitoring and ensuring safety compliance.
Speaking at the event, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, Managing Director LASAA, noted, “We are here today for the safety commission to educate us on safety best practices and explore ways to create a better environment.”
“This collaboration underscores LASAA’s commitment to maintaining a safe and regulated environment for outdoor advertising in Lagos,” Akiolu added.
As stated on LASAA’s LinkedIn page, “LASAA held a Safety Sensitization Forum in collaboration with the Lagos State Safety Commission. The event focused on promoting safety awareness within the advertising industry, ensuring signage and advertising structures comply with safety standards across the state.”
“The donated motorcycles are expected to enhance LASAA’s operational efficiency, particularly in monitoring and ensuring safety compliance in various advertising zones.”
