As technologies and innovation continue to drive the marketing environment, marketers have been tasked to actively harness their potential and creative strategies to remain on top of changing markets and trends.
In an article published on Market Business News on March 28, a digital marketing expert and founder of Melandia Agency, Dmitrii Khasanov Shared deep insights on how to unlock sales growth through a robust marketing campaign, highlighting four innovative strategies marketers should consider and incorporate into their action plan.
He identified the self-service option as one of the strategies that can help marketers know the needs and pain points of their customers. While leveraging this strategy, he stressed the need to create Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) pages that will be user-friendly. This according to him, will enable potential customers to find answers to common questions whenever the need arises.
“Take it a step further by developing online dashboards that allow customers to manage their accounts, track orders, and handle subscriptions on their own. When done well, these self-service options not only provide a smooth and empowering experience for customers but also free up internal teams for more valuable interactions. By enabling customers to help themselves 24/7, brands can stay in tune with modern expectations and enhance overall satisfaction,” Khasanov revealed
Secondly, the digital marketing expert advised marketers to give a try to micro and nano influencers and User-Generated Content (UGC).
User-generated content is created by customers, such as reviews, testimonials, and social media posts, and serves as a potent tool for building trust and credibility with potential customers, offering an authentic glimpse into business and showcasing genuine interactions to foster authenticity. On the other hand, Micro and nano influencers are social media users with limited followers of less than a hundred thousand.
Regardless of their followers, Khasanov believes that this set of influencers often boasts more engagements on their handles compared to influencers with larger followers. while advising marketers to tap into their efficiency to promote their brands within a specific niche, the marketing communicator however cautions them (marketers) to ensure that the influencers align with the niche and avoid those with ghost followers.
Also, among the Innovative Strategies mentioned, is the use of paid digital media to reach a large audience, especially the younger generation. According to him, as people continue to spend more time online, there is a need for brands to use paid ads on platforms like social media, search, and display.
“Test different ad formats and placements to see what works best for your goals. Focus on high-performing platforms and optimize for key metrics like cost per click and conversion rate. Digital paid media allows for precise audience targeting and personalization,” he said.
Lastly, the expert advised marketers to try cross-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive sales growth. He maintains that marketers will excel in cross-platform marketing by setting clear goals, tailoring content for each platform, and striking the right balance between paid and organic strategies. He advised them to embrace the distinctive features of each platform while maintaining a consistent brand identity to amplify the effectiveness of their campaigns.
“Investing in cross-channel digital marketing campaigns is a smart move to enhance sales and establish trust and credibility with your target audience. Begin by achieving success on one platform, then replicate those successful strategies on others. This approach cultivates a dynamic and captivating online brand presence, broadening your audience and increasing conversions,” he wrote.
