Etisalat opens Budding platform for Young Writers Across Africa
Nigeria Telecom Company ,Etisalat has again opened platform for budding writers to realise their dreams through its annual literature Prize.
The Flash Fiction Category Of the contest is already opened to contestants till October 19th. Interested applicant are advised to make online entries via the company’s website,http://prize.etisalat.com.ng/flash/ in not more than 300 words.
The flash fiction category is designed to celebrate unpublished writers across the African continent and challenge budding writers to create compelling stories.
This is opened to all unpublished writers of African citizenship who can be resident anywhere in the world.
The judging panel for this category will be chaired by Toni Kan and other personalities who have established relationship with the African writing space spanning book clubs, poets, writers and critics to include Hawa Golakai, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim and Monica Cheru.
Winner in this category be rewarded with a cash prize of £1,000, a high-end device and the promotion of their published E-books, while two runners up will each receive £500 cash prize and a high-end device.
