Chidum Ayeni appointed new managing director of Heineken Mozambique

Chidum Ayeni, a dynamic figure in the beer industry known for her commitment to growth, innovation, and positive change has embarked on a leadership journey with Heineken as she assumes the role of Managing Director at Heineken Mozambique.

With a wealth of leadership experience spanning over a decade, Ayeni has demonstrated her expertise in business transformation through key positions at renowned companies. Her impressive career includes serving as Managing Director at Brasseries et Limonaderies du Burundi Brarudi S.A, Executive Board Member at Bralirwa SA Rwanda, Digital & Strategic Transformation Director at Nigerian Breweries PLC, and Consultant – Corporate Relations at Heineken USA. Additionally, she held the position of Head of IT at NB PIc, a Heineken company.

In a LinkedIn post, the newly appointed managing director reflected on her journey, transitioning from the picturesque Lake Tanganyika in Burundi to the expansive Indian Ocean.

Chidum Ayeni holds impressive academic qualifications, including an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, completion of the INSEAD Executive Program, and a certificate in Sustainability and Sustainable Businesses. She also earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Benin. Her diverse educational background complements her extensive professional experience, positioning her as a valuable leader in the beer industry.
