Bukola Akingbade Quits Bytesize
Former Chief Executive Officer of and co-founder of Bytesize Digital Marketing Agency Olubukola Akingbade has resigned. She left the frontline digital marketing agency last month to set up Neukleous.
Neukleos is a full-service digital agency focused on developing strategy and content that build brands and creates meaningful digital experiences. “We strongly believe that digital is not a department within marketing but that real digital transformation must permeate all facets of any organization; policy, process, product with C-Level ownership,” she said of her agency which started operation a couple of weeks ago.
Before she joined Rosabel Advertising in 2009, Akingbade worked at Carat Agency in the United Kingdom. She was there for over four years as Account Manager and worked on leading brands like Diageo, Asda Financial Services, Adidas and Legal & General.
At Rosabel, she was first appointed Head of Digital Media, where she was charged with the responsibility of training and educating the Rosabel Leo Burnett Group about the impact and need for digital communications in the Nigerian market and how to align it with global consumer trends.
Ten months after she teamed up with Rosabel, she co-founded Bytesize and became CEO. The agency serviced top clients like Heineken International, P&G, Konga.com, FBN, Moet Hennessy, Samsung Nigeria etc.
The establishment of Neukleous is coming at a point when digital marketing has become a big attraction for brands in Nigeria and digital budget has grown exponentially in the last several years. This has attracted a lot more players in the digital marketing space.
