Access Bank honored with Euromoney award for top bank in Nigeria, Ghana

Access Bank Plc has received a prestigious recognition at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024, being named Nigeria’s Best Bank and Ghana’s Best Bank for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
These awards underscore the Bank’s exceptional performance and dedication to sustainable practices throughout its African operations.
For more than 20 years, Access Bank has consistently showcased its capacity to innovate and deliver customized solutions that cater to its diverse customer base.
The Bank has also demonstrated leadership in ESG practices, establishing itself as a prominent figure in sustainable finance on the continent.
In a statement on the awards, Roosevelt Ogbonna, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, said, “This recognition by Euromoney doesn’t just acknowledge our achievements, it also reflects our future aspirations as a Bank.

Last year, Access Bank Nigeria earned Euromoney’s ‘Market Leader’ rating in Corporate Banking, CSR, Digital Solutions, ESG, and SME Banking. Similarly, Access Bank Ghana was recognized as a ‘Market Leader’ in CSR, highlighting its significant influence in local communities.
