Pepsi adds Davido to brand ambassadors
In addition to Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay; beverage company, Pepsi has officially signed Davido as its latest brand ambassador. The deal will stand for two years, the artiste announced on his Twitter handle, @iam_Davido.
Pepsi officially announced the signing on of the singer as part of its commitment of bringing fun and excitement to its fans. In a statement, it said: “Music fans are assured of more refreshing fun from Pepsi through their music ambassadors, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay and the newly signed Davido.”
Davido who was obviously excited on after signing the deal, shared a photo on his Instagram page and wrote: “NEW DEAL ALERT!!! MY NEW PEPSI DEAL SWEETER THAN !!! 2 YEARS WITH THE BEST !! THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS BLESSINGS!!! @pepsi_naija !!!”
The 24-year-old award-winning recording artist, performer and record producer whose real names are David Adedeji Adeleke also has multi-million naira endorsement deals with MTN (as the face of MTN Pulse) and Guinness Nigeria.
In January, Davido has signed a deal with Sony music worldwide.
