Minister assures on allowing Professionals to Head APCON
The honourable Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed visited the Advertisers Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) headquarters in Lagos on Thursday, when he paid a working visit to the regulatory body.
The minister was received by top officials of the council as he inspected facilities in the premises. As such, other members of staff of the body where seen going about their duties.
Although, details of the visit were not disclosed; an anonymous member of staff believes the minister’s visit would cause a facelift of the organisation’s facilities and general improvement in activities.
Mohammed has been in Lagos for some days now visiting various government agencies and speaking on government’s plans and expectations for them. Last week, he also met online editors and bloggers as well as entertainers.
From APCON House, the minister proceeded to the National Arts Theatre also in Iganmu.
