The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has accredited Strategy Trybe, an Advertising and Account Planning Institute, as one of the approved schools in Nigeria.

The accreditation is specifically for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Strategy and Account Planning programmes, allowing graduates to sit for the final (level 3) ARCON exam and register as Associate Members (ARPA) of the council.

The accreditation approval was officially signed and sealed at the ARCON office at the APCON House, National Theatre, Orile Iganmu.

Speaking with MARKETING EDGE, Sherif Lanre Akinpelu, founder of Strategy Trybe Institute, noted that the accreditation couldn’t have come at a better time. He added that since 2018, Strategy Trybe has been addressing the critical strategy gap in the African marketing communication industry.

Akinpelu stated, “The ARCON endorsement not only validates the school’s innovative approach but also cements its position as a pivotal force in shaping the future of communications education across the African continent.”

He further emphasized, “This accreditation is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our passion for raising the bar in the advertising industry. We are proud of the journey so far and look forward to continuing to produce talented professionals who will make a meaningful impact in the industry.”

We’re not merely filling a talent void; we’re actively charting the course for Africa’s Marketing Communications industry,” he stated.

Akinpelu also noted, this latest accolade further solidifies Strategy Trybe’s role as the crucible for nurturing the next generation of strategic thinkers and executioners within Nigeria and across the continent.

Since its inception, the Institute’s comprehensive curriculum has honed the skills of over 500 professionals.

This accreditation fast-tracks their path to becoming registered advertising professionals in Nigeria.

As the pioneer of Africa’s Strategists Hangout in 2020, Strategy Trybe continues to spearhead initiatives bridging generational gaps in the industry. The organisation also boasts a thriving online community, offering daily learning, networking, and mentoring opportunities for strategists and other marketing communications professionals in Africa.
