Damilola Abodunrin is an Experienced Business Lead with a demonstrated history of grooming talented professionals in the tech, marketing and advertising and strong business development profession.
Damilola is currently the Business Lead at iProspect, a global digital-first end to end media and advertising agency, where he is saddled with the role of identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Prior to working with iProspect he was the Digital Media Manager at Isobar a Marketing and Advertising in London, where he provided team mentorship, solution development and thought leadership while growing the revenues at an average of 85% YoY.
He also had a stint as the Associate Digital Media Manager, Capital Media Limited Nigeria, Media Fuse Dentsu leading, digital performance strategies of all agency brands within the agency network. His triple-hat responsibilities as Director of Digital Transformation at dentsu includes leadership in Digital Performance Marketing, Data-driven Marketing & Total Commerce, he was the business developer at MTech communication PLC and also the Multimedia Developer at Springteam, among others.
Damilola started his career in 2009 as UX Engineer at the leading Telecommunications VAS providers in Nigeria where he rose to System Architect and team lead for the Nokia Life Tools™ project (SMS-powered content service).
He switched to the media scene in 2011 as pioneer hire in digital marketing, working on a wide range of brand verticals designing & deploying the first web page take-over and custom mouse pointer campaigns for Guinness, Mortein and Etisalat (now 9mobile).
His brand experience cuts across several sectors including: Technology & Electronics (Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Philips), Brewed and Non-alcoholic beverages (Moet & Hennessy, Coca-Cola, Glenfiddich, Diageo, AB InBev, Nigerian Breweries, Red bull), Telecommunications (Etisalat), Banking & Finance (Stanbic IBTC, Standard Chartered, Ecobank, Leadway), FinTech (Quickteller, Mastercard, Visa), Travel (Virgin Atlantic), FMCG (Nivea, Nestle, Friesland Campina WAMCO, UAC Foods, Deli Foods, Tiger, Ajinomoto), Lifestyle (Film House, Calvin Klein), Oil & Gas (Total)
