150 journalists battle to win Gulder promo prize
Despite long journey from Lagos to Enugu on Sunday, about 150 journalists will be competing to win different prizes at the Gulder Ultimate Promo being held inside Okpara Square Enugu right now.
The journalists, 90 of them selected from Lagos will compete in an endurance test to kick start the Gulder ultimate promo that is yet to be unveiled as at press time. The journalists were those who write on brands, sports, entertainment and business.
With two stopovers at Ogbere when one of the vehicles broke down and another one in Edo State, where the journalists had short refreshment, the journey that started in Lagos at 10 am ended about 9pm on Sunday.
As restless as they were, the journalists still took time to unwind on Sunday night and later observed a nap to prepare for the Gulder test.
The ultimate promo is set to be a world record as all eyes would be on Nigeria as it sets another record in the Guinness Book.
The consumer promo, which is slated to take off from Enugu State would be taken round the six geopolitical zones of the country, according to a source.
During the endurance test, participating journalists would have the opportunity to win big prizes including Hyundai salon car. It is also a promo, according to feelers that would afford journalists not only to win but to also have the opportunity to choose a prize.
