Zenith Bank’s Tech Fair inspires innovation and growth

In a bid to foster collaboration and innovation within the tech community, Zenith Bank Plc has organized its 2023 Tech Fair, which brought together tech enthusiasts and brands under one roof. The event, held at the Eko Hotel & Suits, provided a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploration of the latest technological advancements.
One of the highlights of the fair was an insightful session by Elo Umeh, Managing Director of Terragon Group, where he spoke to the participants on how to grow a successful tech startup. Mr. Umeh, in his session, shared invaluable insights on overcoming challenges, scaling operations, and navigating the ever-evolving tech landscape.
He said, “As the founder of a startup, leadership comes down to service to the component stakeholders from government down to environment, customers, staff, management and the board, and that service could mean many different things. You have to be able to deliver that service. If you fail several times, you never give up. You have to keep trying. If you give up, then you never get to the end. Your startup may never succeed.”
The audience, comprised of eager participants ranging from budding entrepreneurs to established tech enthusiasts, absorbed wisdom on building a resilient foundation for a startup. Mr. Umeh emphasized the importance of innovation, adaptability, and strategic planning in the highly competitive tech industry.
Other features at the fair includes insightful masterclasses on Blockchain technology, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security. The event also featured the Zecathon pitch presentation where 10 tech startups were given the opportunity to present their pitch to a panel session.
Several tech firms showcased their goods and services at the fair, demonstrating Zenith Bank’s dedication to helping the tech community. Participants had the chance to interact with state-of-the-art technology, investigate new trends, and form relationships that might influence the direction of the IT industry in the future.
In addition to providing a forum for knowledge exchange, the Tech Fair stimulated cooperation between tech enthusiasts and business executives. Zenith Bank’s initiative to host such an event reflects its dedication to promoting technological advancement and supporting the growth of startups within the vibrant tech ecosystem.
