UPDATE: ONUKWUBA ENTERS THE OAAN EXECUTIVE RACE
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Advertising Services, NAS, Mrs. Ify Onukwuba has entered the race to contest for the position of General Secretary of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria, OAAN.
MARKETING EDGE gathered from reliable sources that the senior outdoor advertising professional had made her intention to run for general secretary position known to some powerful members of the association.
Investigation by Marketing Edge showed how Onukwuba actually told some of her allies, saying, “I declare my intention to offer myself to serve our great Association as an general secretary member in the forthcoming election during our AGM on the 30th of July 2015.”
The aspirant stated further that her decision to run for the office was predicated on her conviction that she would make meaningful and positive change in outdoor Advertising industry and more importantly stand up to some of the impunity and maladministration put in place by successive governments.
