The new face of TVC News was unveiled to the public at an event held at the premises of the award winning broadcast outfit in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, TVC Communications CEO Andrew Hanlon, said TVC News relaunch was a key part of the transformation plan to making TVC Communications one of the leading media and entertainment companies in Nigeria.
“The changes we are introducing at TVC News are about more than just aesthetics and marketing positioning statements, the changes go to the very core of the radical transformation which we have embarked upon since TVC Communications was born in 2017.
“We have to offer something different, something which is attractive to a sophisticated audience and something which literally stands out from the crowd. If you get that right, then you attract substantial multi-platform audience volumes, and this, of course is what advertisers want,” the CEO said.
In line with its new pay off-line which is first with breaking news, TVC has boosted it capacity to deliver quality news in a professional and timely manner by a robust investment in live broadcast facility and other technology equipment as well as human capacity improvements.
“Our positioning statement as being first with breaking news, isn’t just a tagline, it is a major promise to our audience that TVC News will be channel you come to as bid stories unfold anywhere in Nigeria”
He also added that in the last two years, since TVC Communications embarked on its rebranding exercise, the outfit’s performance has improved significantly as viewership has increased and there have been growth in its revenue base. This is in spite of the economic recession.
