Tastee Fried Chicken crowns winners of “Get Artee with Tastee” competition
Leading quick service restaurant, Tastee Fried Chicken has crowned the winners of its Children’s Day Competition, Get Artee with Tastee.
Held in Lagos, the children’s day initiative for kids aged 6-12 was launched to explore children’s creativity, encourage them to do what they love, embrace their talents, and express themselves through art.
Oyetunji Iyunade Dorcas of Princeton College was awarded the grand prize of a Play Station 4; coming closely at second place, Teniola Anthon from the Child of Promise School won a HP Kiddies Laptop and at third place, Israel Aissi from Nathan Nursery and Primary School was awarded the 3rd Prize of a brand new Bicycle.
In addition to these prizes, all participants would be rewarded with consolation prizes which includes kiddies tablets and many other fantastic gift items.
The winners, drawn from top ten finalists were given 40 minutes to draw the Tastee Fried Chicken Mascot, and paint it with the brand colors –Orange and Yellow, without leaving out the necessary features and details.
Amongst other personalities at the event, key representatives from Tastee Fried Chicken were; Mr. Adewale Shote – Business Transformation Director; Onyeka Ezeamama – Brand Manager; Abiola Akisanya-Communication and Strategy Manager; and Ken Okonta – Marketing Manager.
The drawings, according to the organizers were judged based on creativity, representation, and presentation.
Commenting on the competition, Business Transformation Director, TFC, Mr. Adewale Shote said: “I am really excited that we have the kids with us along our journey towards transformation. It is more exciting because we are building the next generation of people who would run Tastee Fried Chicken.”
He stated further: “It is good to start with them now so that they can actually see how we run the business, they can be a part of us, help us with our designs, decision making, concepts, and contents amongst other things we are trying to achieve; and also give us the ideas which would bring more kids to Tastee Fried Chicken.”
