Meet MARKETING EDGE 2020 Summit & Awards panelist – Alaba Fadero
Alaba Fadero is the Executive Director, OMG WeCA. He has about 27 years’ industry experience with specialties in Strategy, Media Buying & Implementation, Procurement, Negotiations, Finance and Operations.
After his previous experience with Lowe Lintas affiliate in Nigeria, Alaba joined OMDN in 2000. He was seconded to Ghana to head mediaReach OMD Ghana operations in 2009 and was also responsible for “other West & Central Africa countries”. By dint of divine providence, hard work and commitment, he grew the business and agency was no 1 in terms of billing and reputation by 2012.
He returned to Nigeria in 2013 as the Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer mediaReach OMD.
Alaba is a registered practitioner in advertising (rpa) APCON, and his industry experience spans a wide range of products, including FMCGs, Durables, Telecom, Banking and Airline industries in Nigeria, West and Central African region.
Alaba has a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and he is an Alumnus of LBS, Nigeria and Ashridge, UK.
He is currently Executive Director Omnicom Media Group West & Central Africa Region.
