Loeries Creative Week 2022 will hold in District Six
District Six in the City of Cape Town will be playing host to the 2022 edition of Loeries Creative Week as the region’s creative minds come together to recognise the best work from across Africa and the Middle East. The week promises a cultural immersion into the District Six areas as the brand communications celebrates the best in creative excellence from across the region.

The newly renovated Cape Town City Hall will host the five international Loeries jury presidents as they share their insights on the global brand communications industry. Speakers include Natalie Lam CCO Publicis Groupe, Asia Middle East and Africa; Debbie Vandeven Global CCO, VMLY&R Kansas City; Mariana Okelly Global ECD, Ogilvy Chicago; Esra Gülmen Artist and Designer, Berlin; Karin Onsager-Birch Vice President Creative of Lyft San Francisco. The main theatre at the District Six Homecoming Centre will host a dedicated awards ceremony for Student and Student Crafts categories. The awards celebrate our future creative leaders. Cash bar and food available.
The Lookout, a glass marque overlooking the Atlantic ocean, will play hosts to the Loeries Film Awards ceremony which celebrates the best in Film and Film Crafts from the region. The evening will celebrate everyone from Cinematographers, Directors, Agencies, Production companies to Illustrators. Cash bar and food trucks available.
The Lookout once again plays host to the second night of the Loerie Awards with winners in the following categories being announced: Live, Public Relations, Out of Home, Print, Digital, Design, Effective Creativity, Radio, Shared Value, Service Design, Media Innovation, Young Creatives, Integrated, Hall of Fame, Marketing Leadership and Innovation Award, Agency & Regional Agency of the year and the Grand Prix awards. The Loeries Creative Week Official After Party takes to the streets of District Six entertainment and DJ’s at Harrington’s Cocktail Lounge. This promises to be the biggest industry party across Africa and the Middle East! Cash bar and food available.
