John Ugbe becomes BON’s new Chairman
Solutions-oriented ICT expert and business manager, John Ugbe, the Chief Executive Officer, Multichoice Nigeria, has emerged the Chairman of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON). Mr. Ugbe defeated Sir Godfrey Ohuabunwa of Multimesh Limited by polling a total of 63 to 35 votes in a keenly contested election at the Coronation Hall of the Kano State Government House, Kano.
The election was held as part of the 75th general assembly and 20th annual general meeting (AGM) of the nation’s broadcasting house, BON. This was officially announced on the broadcasting organisation’s website.
John Ugbe is a product of University of Liverpool. He is a solutions-oriented ICT expert and business manager with over fourteen years practical experience in all aspects of ICT. The MultiChoice CEO has a passion for the web and is particularly passionate about motivating and managing people. The ICT expert was formally the General Manager of iWay Africa, a position he held for 3 years. Currently, he is still the CEO of Africa’s leading entertainment company, MultiChoice Nigeria.
