Dentsu International names Damien Lemaitre as global commerce director
Dentsu International has named Damien Lemaitre as its global commerce director. He is to resume his new role with immediate effect.
In his new role, he is charged with developing “enhanced solution” for clients from Dentsu network global media agencies, including Carat, iProspect and Dentsu X.
Prior to moving to Denstu international he was the senior vice president media product and innovation, he was also the senior vice president-media of Dentsu’s Isobar Canada unit.
Lemaitre, who is based in Dentsu’s Lyon, France, will report to global chief product officer for media Rohan Philips.
While speaking on the appointment Denstu Global Chief product officer, Rohan Philips, said in a statement: “Damien brings a fresh mindset to our team, His years of product and innovation specialism perfectly overlay with deep commerce understanding to solve our client’s biggest challenges today, whilst also planning for and mitigating against the changing media and retail landscape of tomorrow.”
Also speaking on his role, Lemaitre added that commerce was “one of the fastest-growing challenges for brands” and that he was looking forward to applying his problem-solving abilities to those challenges.
