According to him, the marketing support products are; building of the company’s website, branding, logo, identity development as well as embarking on massive campaigns that would put the SMEs at the top-of-mind of the Nigerian consumers.

In his words: “This is a huge deal because this would cost maybe four times of that if we are talking normal circumstances but we want to show them that we are actually ready.”

“We want to show our capacity, our resolve to actually make this happen for SMEs. It is going to be 50 at least for starters; you know that we are getting towards Christmas already.”

“It is like an end of the year promo for them so; everything has to happen pretty fast. If we find the 50 SMEs, I feel that we can grow with them and support them.”

“We will go beyond the brief to actually give them some other kind of support beyond the websites that they need to also look at identified areas where they can also find a way to grow their businesses.”

“Our agreement officially kicks off on December 1st, 2018 and the promo would run from the 1st of December to the 30th of January 2019.”

“There would be footprint online and we would put some activities online too. We would then be releasing other products along the line but we want to start with that first.”

Speaking in the same vein, the Creative Director, Gobbleabba, Mr. Wale Otolorin, said that the collaboration will benefit SMEs, stressing that over the years SMEs have not had the needed support that they deserve.

Otolorin pointed that since Gobbleabba had been in operation, it has worked with about 90% SMEs in helping their businesses to thrive.

He said: “My focus has always been to help the SMEs, now we have a lot of SMEs in Nigeria that want to act and feel like a big company.”

“This collaboration will enable us to provide the best services that they need to thrive as a business. Gobbleabba will be providing the technological part of the company and Bedouin will provide the design part of the company so that we can help these businesses out there.”
