Alausa Wears New Cap at Noah’s Ark
The creative department at Noah’s Ark recently experienced the break of a new dawn in the form of an old wine in a new skin when Abolaji Alausa, former Creative Director of Noah’s Ark assumed the position of the Executive Creative Director of the agency, a position that sees him taking full responsibility for the agency’s creative development and output.
Though, Noah’s Ark Managing Director, Lanre Adisa is not done with the agency yet, but he revealed that Alausa has been a great encouragement to his team and the entire agency in general and like any good leader, he has shown a lot of maturity and grace under pressure. He has also been able to foster healthy business relationships with the clients.
According to him, “Bolaji and his associates will have the responsibility of charting the path of Noah’s Ark creative course henceforth”.
Alausa started his advertising career with Rosabel Leo Burnett where he had a stint with the agency in 2006. He moved on to DDB Lagos in 2007 where he worked for five years before he progressed to Noah’s Ark in 2011 where he was emlyed as the Associate Creative Director.
He has won several national awards, most notable among them is LAIF and the local Young Lions competition in 2009. On the international front: Nigeria’s first Epica and Loeries awards. Thanks to his efforts, Noah’s Ark has become the first Nigerian agency ever to have had its work featured in Lürzer’s Archive.
He is featured in Archive’s 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2014. He is currently ranked Archive’s 14th most published creative director in the world. He graduated from the famous YabaTech and majored in painting.
