AEMS Set to Hold Second Edition
African Experiential Marketing Summit (AEMS) is set to hold the second edition of its annual conference. The summit which aims at entrenching and deepening the knowledge about experiential marketing in the industry due to the dearth of knowledge on experiential marketing in the industry is slated for Wednesday, February 4, 2014 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island.
The theme of the summit tagged “Plugging Your 2015 Marketing Mix into Experiential Marketing”, the conference clarifies how experiential marketing can help marketers achieve their marketing objectives.
Speaking on the event, Wole Olagundoye, Managing Director, EXP Nigeria say the conference is designed to address segments of our target audience that value investment in knowledge, tose would normally travel abroad for similar courses, saying, “What we have done is to bring all the speakers to Nigeria and open the summit up to more marketing professionals in the industry”.
He added, “Given plenty case studies and what we have done in the past, experiential marketing allows for brand differentiation, allows for brands to be remembered better and of course, ensures the brand leaves the shelf and gets into the hands of consumers if you cleverly deploy experiential marketing opportunities”.
Speakers expected at the event includes: Danny Hannover, founder of Event Marketing Institute cum Editor/Founder Event Marketer Magazine, USA, who will deliver the keynote address. Others includes Nick Tasler, author of ‘Why Quitters Win’ and ‘The Impulse Factor’, Lola Pedro, the African Regional Director, Trendwatch, and Bayo Adekanmbi, Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Nigeria amongst others.
