ACAMB conference set to drive collaborative solutions

In a bid to revolutionize customer service within Nigeria’s banking and financial sector, the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) is set to host its highly anticipated third National Stakeholders’ Conference.

Themed “Building Bridges: Collaborative Solutions for a Trusted Banking and Financial Services Experience”, the conference is slated for Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at the prestigious Bankers House, CIBN, Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

With the aim of fostering dialogue and collaboration among industry players, the event will feature top-tier speakers and subject matter experts who will delve into end-to-end customer service issues plaguing banks and financial institutions.

This year’s ACAMB Conference is expected to attract members of the banking and financial services industry, corporate communication experts, regulators, policymakers, technology providers, industry analysts, and media representatives.

Rasheed Bolarinwa, ACAMB President, underscored the conference’s significance in the current financial landscape, emphasizing the need for stakeholders to come together to address common challenges and work towards a unified vision of excellence in banking services.

“By building bridges and fostering collaboration, we believe we can significantly enhance the customer experience and drive growth in the sector,” Bolarinwa remarked.

According to Bolarinwa, the conference anticipates the esteemed presence of the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Justice B.B. Kanyip, Ph.D., President of the Industrial Court of Nigeria, Abuja. While Wale Abioye, a Consumer Solutions Strategist and Advisor from KPMG’s Advisory Services will be leading the charge as the keynote speaker, he will be setting the tone for discussions on collaborative approaches to solving industry challenges and enhancing overall customer experience.

Other distinguished panelists who will be sharing valuable insights include Oguche Agudah, CEO & Executive Secretary of the Pensions Operators of Nigeria (PenOp), and Stephen Alangbo, Managing Director/CEO of Cornerstone Insurance, among others.

The event will also be graced with the presence of representatives from major banks such as Access Bank and FirstBank, including Chief Customer Experience Officers, Virgine Nowak and Lande Atere, will share insights on building trusted banking experiences through collaboration.

ACAMB is the umbrella body for all corporate and marketing communication professionals working in Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) across Nigeria, with the focus of advancing the interests of its members.
