LASAA unveils 2021 mobile advert sticker for branded vehicles
The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has launched the 2021 mobile advert sticker for branded vehicles. The unveiling took place during a press conference held at the LASAA office, Ikeja.
Speaking on the launch of the new mobile advert sticker, Managing Director, LASAA, Prince Adedamola Docemo, said: “With this new upgraded sticker, all branded vehicles state-wide will be easily captured on mobile advert, thereby making the agency monitoring the compliance and enforcement work much more easier. The incident of fraud will be reduced to the barest minimum, if not totally eradicated, and non-compliant vehicles will be grounded. ”
The Managing Director admonished clients to desist from patronizing agents and middle men who parade themselves as LASAA representatives as the agency does not recognize any. According to LASAA, the new mobile advert sticker would be ready in 72 hours.
“Our enforcement team will commence monitoring from January 2021to ensure maximum compliance,” he added.
Established in 2006, LASAA was formed to control outdoor structures to be used for signage and advertisements; establish a data-base of all the outdoor structures used for signage and advertisement, their owners and operators as well as their location and the reason for the operation; and to ensure that outdoor structures are soundly and carefully designed, erected, modified, maintained or removed when no longer in use to avoid potential damages to lives and property.
