Publicis Groupe,  New Zealand,  has elevated Jayde Hill to General Manager, People and Culture, placing her at the helm of the organisation’s people strategy in the market.

The promotion marks another milestone in Hill’s eight year journey with the communications group, which began in 2018 when she joined as its first dedicated People and Culture hire in New Zealand.

In her new capacity, Hill will drive the group’s people and culture agenda across the country, with responsibility spanning talent management, capability development, employee wellbeing and organisational growth.

Her expanded leadership role also draws on experience gained across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, where she has worked across talent acquisition, talent development and business partnering.

Commenting on the appointment, Pauly Grant, Chief Talent Officer, Publicis Groupe ANZ and APAC, described Hill’s promotion as a recognition of the leadership she has demonstrated and the influence she has built across the organisation.

Grant noted that Hill had played a central role in developing Publicis Groupe’s People and Culture function in New Zealand from its early stages. He also highlighted her ability to combine commercial understanding with a strong commitment to employee development, saying she has earned the confidence of both teams and senior leaders across the Groupe.

For Hill, the new position presents an opportunity to take the organisation’s people agenda into its next phase. She said she was proud to assume the responsibility and would focus on building a workplace where talented professionals can develop their careers, contribute meaningfully and reach their potential.

Meanwhile, Grant pointed to Hill’s own career progression as an example of the professional opportunities available within Publicis Groupe and its agencies.

According to him, her journey demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to developing internal talent and creating pathways for career advancement.

With the new appointment, Hill will now play a broader role in shaping how Publicis Groupe attracts, develops and retains talent while strengthening its people and culture strategy across New Zealand.
