Iquo makes bold leap from boardroom to premier

Renowned marketing expert and accomplished entrepreneur, Iquo Ukoh, has once again proven her versatility and talent in multiple spheres. As an Independent Non-Executive Director at Presco Plc, Iquo has consistently demonstrated her expertise in the world of business. However, her creative prowess doesn’t stop there.

The multifaceted personality recently starred in the latest Nollywood film, “Makemation,” produced by Marketmation Film. This exciting new role showcases Iquo’s ability to seamlessly transition between the boardroom and the big screen.

Sharing her latest achievement Iquo, on her LinkedIn page, she noted that she’s been up to several things, including board appointments, documentary productions, and acting in films.

She jokes about her newfound fame, saying, “I am now a Bonafide actor. What will you do if you see me in a Movie? Talk to me nice and you can contact me for my rates.”

Iquo recounts how she landed the role, saying, “When I received a call from my dear mentee and adopted Daughter, Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, the Producer and EP, to do a Cameo role in this groundbreaking Movie, I did not know what to expect. I have never acted in a film before, but I told myself the people that act don’t have two heads.”

She praises the film’s production quality, noting, “What I saw while we were shooting on Set was a Film Production of international standards pushing the boundaries of storytelling on Tech – AI especially for Girls. I loved our Shots on the grounds of the Microsoft Africa Development Centre and Pan Atlantic University, especially.”

Iquo encourages audiences to watch the film, saying, “I wholeheartedly encourage you to take your family, staff, and friends to watch this game-changer Movie in Nollywood. Entertainment and Education fused so beautifully. With its Hollywood-standard production quality and valuable lessons for children and young adults, it’s no wonder Makemation has gotten really excellent reviews everywhere amongst audiences and critics.”

The film has indeed made a significant impact, grossing N32.9 million in just four days and ranking as the second film in the Nollywood Box Office during the Easter holiday.
