Arise News honours TVC GMD/ CEO, Ajayi as one of 65 Women of Impact

Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TVC Communications, has been recognized as one of the 65 Women of Impact by Arise News, an honor bestowed upon her on Monday, March 31, 2025, in celebration of her outstanding leadership and influence.

Against the opulent backdrop of Eko Hotel, the air shimmered with grace, glamour, and grandeur as a constellation of trailblazing women, power brokers, and visionaries converged with each of them radiating force in a night etched in history, where excellence was not just celebrated but immortalized.

In a notification letter earlier sent to each of the awardees, the Management of Arise News Channel disclosed that the women were carefully selected to be celebrated and honoured by its Editorial Board for their contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria, Africa and the world at the grand gala of the International Women’s Month.

It reads in part, “As part of our commitment to highlighting the contributions of women shaping our collective futures, we bring together during International Women’s Month, pioneers and powerhouses who have significantly shaped various industries, professions, and communities.”

Stepping onto the podium, Mrs. Victoria Abiola Ajayi was honored for her exceptional achievements as one of Nigeria’s foremost female leaders and change-makers. The TVC GMD was decorated as one of the 65 best and brightest women of excellence, character, and impact in Nigeria.

Reacting to the special recognition, Mrs. Ajayi expressed her gratitude to ARISE GROUP for the honor, acknowledging that the award will inspire her to greater heights, especially in her efforts to promote opportunities and initiatives that support the girl child and women in general.

While acknowledging ARISE GROUP as a competitor, the TVC boss emphasized that competition does not equate to opposition. She noted that the award holds deep significance for her.

She also extended her appreciation to the staff, board, and management of TVC for their unwavering trust in her leadership, vowing never to disappoint them.

Mrs. Ajayi dedicated the award to God Almighty, her husband, whom she described as her pillar of support, her children, and the entire TVC Group.

Brilliant and unforgivably eloquent, Mrs Ajayi is a seasoned finance leader with over 15 years of professional experience across local and international organizations. She is a public intellectual who is appealing to every man on the street.

Until her appointment in March 2024, she has served TVC Communications in different capacities, which led to her last role as Deputy Chief Finance Officer (CFO), where she assisted the former CEO in navigating the complexities of the industry and driving the company forward.

She stepped into the plum role with a formidable fusion of academic excellence and professional mastery. A distinguished Fellow of ACCA with an MBA from IESE Business School, Mrs. Ajayi wields a rare blend of financial acumen and visionary leadership, an engine that propels business growth and innovation.
