Visa appoints Abdalla as CMO for CEMEA regions

Visa, a leading digital payment platform, has appointed Tarek Abdalla as Chief Marketing Officer of the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) regions as part of strategic initiatives to deepen the growth of the brand in the key markets where it operates.
The company made the announcement on its LinkedIn page thus: “We are pleased to announce Tarek Abdalla as our newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Visa Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA)”.
Prior to this appointment, Tarek was Regional Brand Manager for TikTok with specific focus on Middle East, Africa, Turkiye and South Asia after several years as Regional Marketing Director at Google.
Tarek who brings over twenty years’ experience in brand management is expected to help expand and grow Visa’s presence across the regions, amplifying the brand purpose through campaigns and activations while delivering value through global sponsorships.
