Prof. Saibu to lead conversation on ADVAN Industry Dialogue

The Nigerian Marketing Development Team, an initiative of Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), has disclosed that the renowned Scholar, Prof Olufemi Saibu, the Director of Quality Assurance and Servicom Unit, and pioneer Director of the Institute of Nigeria China Development Studies at the University of Lagos, will lead conversation as the keynote speaker at its 2024 ADVAN Industry Dialogue.
The much-awaited event, themed “Public/Private Collaboration in the Marketing Industry: The Path to Economic Viability”, is scheduled to be held on Friday, 10th of May at Sheba Centre Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Maryland, Lagos.
According to the advertisers’ body, the Nigerian Marketing Development Team is a special team of advertisers, CEOs, CMOs and academia in marketing, who come together under the umbrella of ADVAN, with the aim and objective of providing value for marketing in Nigeria.
ADVAN in an exclusive chat with MARKETING EDGE reiterated that the extraordinary gathering will be led by an array of industry pioneers and renowned business leaders. They will be making presentations on diverse and contemporary issues to drive requisite change and push boundaries for the growth and development of the marketing ecosystem.
Ediri Ose-Ediale, the CEO and Executive Director of ADVAN, said that amidst challenges confronting businesses across sectors, “the Industry Dialogue is strategically poised to provide the platform to address collective challenges, support effective policy implementation and build trust. She noted that it will be an-all-stakeholders’ engagement comprising corporate leaders and top government officials in the business and marketing communications industry.
The ADVAN CEO/ED also disclosed that a research paper will be presented by the Pan Atlantic University School of Media and Communication in collaboration with the Nigerian Marketing Development Team on the topic “Collaboration, Sustainable Businesses, and the Nigerian Experience.”
