Nokia targets low segment consumers with dual SIM phones
Nokia has unveiled two new feature phones, Nokia dual SIM 216 and Nokia 216.
This comes after Microsoft in May this year announced an agreement to sell its entry-level feature phone assets to FIH Mobile Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Foxconn technology group and HMD Global, Oy for $350 million.
However, the company had said it would continue to run its feature phone business until the transaction closes, which is expected in the second half of 2016.
They are high end phones that capture and share selfies and photos day or night; the phones have a beautifully crafted polycarbonate shell that is built to last, and outstanding battery life that keeps you connected for longer times. Available in black, gray, and blue, the devices, according to Microsof, will be available in Nigeria in November 2016.
Featuring two cameras with LED flash, the internet-enabled Nokia 216 and Nokia 216 Dual SIM are great feature phones for capturing and sharing special moments. There are apps and games in the Opera Mobile Store. You can download one free Gameloft game every month for a year, and enjoy popular titles like GT Racing and Little Big City.
The devices come with FM Radio, MP3 and video player, and Bluetooth audio support for headsets. The phones can store up to 2000 contacts, and have a memory card support of up to 32GB. The rear camera LED flash doubles as a built-in torchlight when you need.
