NIMN inducts new members calls for increased participation

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has inducted new members into various membership cadets of the institute with a call for improved participation in fostering the agenda of inclusivity and growth.

According to the marketing Institute, 41 professionals were admitted into the body as Full members while 78 others were inducted as Associate members.

Speaking during the induction ceremony which held virtually on 15th December, 2022, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, President and Chairman of Council of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria NIMN, who congratulated the inductees enjoined them to be committed to the growth of the Institute by being active members noting that the body is witnessing a dynamic shift aimed to reposition the marketing profession in Nigeria.

While delivering a keynote speech on the theme “Staying relevant with the evolving consumer”, Dr. Tola Elatuyi, Marketing Director, Sub-Sahara Africa, Pladis Global gave an insight into the new age consumer and how their expectations will shape the dynamics of marketing in the future.

The marketing professional who is also a Fellow of the Institute opined that creativity and innovation must form the bedrock of marketing solutions which should revolve round value and experience for consumers.

She said: “A brand with value will always strive. Innovate faster than its competitors.”

Pledging unalloyed commitment to the Institute on behalf of the newly inductees, Yusuf Murtala, Marketing Director, Coca-Cola and Oghale Mafuru, Presenter, MARKETING EDGE on TV assured the President and members of Council of the unflinching determination to contribute to the growth of the Institute.

They appreciated members of Council for the opportunity to serve.

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is the professional body for marketing professionals engaged in marketing and other related fields.
